WALKING

One of the easiest and cheapest ways to get around is to walk. Aside from being the most environmentally friendly way to travel, walking has other benefits; it’s great for your health and its free!

Walking allows you to get fit whilst saving money on parking and petrol.

30 minutes exercise five days a week is the suggested guideline to stay fit and healthy. It is also the perfect length of time for short, local journeys on foot or by bike.

Walking is also quicker then you think: one mile can only take 10 – 15 minutes to walk depending on your pace.
